Annalen des Naturhistorischen Museums in Wien

The journal "Annalen des Naturhistorischen Museums in Wien" is an annual international scientific journal. It focusses on topics related to the scientific collections of the Natural History Museum and current research programs at the museum. From volume 84 (1980) the journal was split into three series (Series A, Series B, and Series C).

Through an exchange service, the journal is distributed to 1500 scientific institutions worldwide. The journal is indexed in GeoRef, BIOSIS Previews and Zoological Record. All submitted manuscripts will be strictly peer-reviewed.

Longer articles and monographs are welcome. Colour illustrations are possible upon request.

Series A contains papers relating to Mineralogy, Petrology, Geology, Palaeontology, Archaeozoology, Anthropology, and Pre-History.
