The Display Collection

The famous large public displays comprise about 15% of the total collection and show aesthetic and scientifically valuable minerals, ores, gemstones, rocks (including decorative and building stones) as well as meteorites and impactites (including tektites) collected over more than 500 years.

They are distributed among five large exhibition halls, numbered 1-5 (after entering the Museum, turn right and go up the stairs to hall 1).
