A setup fee of € 70 is due per scan.
Prices or services do not include the preparation of the samples (e.g. staining in metal solutions or fixation with agarose). Samples must already
be in a state that enables a scan. Support for adequate preparation will be given during the consultation.
Independent use of the MicroCT by internal users is only possible after adequate training. The prerequisite is the mandatory
consultation or an agreement with the NHMW microCT operator, especially to discuss if the scans can be carried out independently
(depending on the type and number of samples).
Appointments are made after consultation and confirmation by Viola Winkler.
The scan report (created by the NHMW staff) contains the technical parameters of the scan (in tabular form) as well as meaningful
images (sectional and volume images) as PDF. The hourly rate for visualization is to be paid for further analyzes (scope upon
agreement). Several scans can also be combined in one PDF, but the respective costs will still be charged per scan.
Visualization and analysis of the data by NHMW staff is possible by agreement of the scope. Here the ‘hourly rate visualization’
is charged per hour.
Data transfer (external and commercial): The data is saved on a USB stick (128 GB, fixed price: 50 € + shipping) or a hard
drive (1 TB, fixed price: 100 € + shipping) and transferred directly or sent.
