Please respect the following current regulations for your museum visit:
  • It is required to wear a mouth-nose-protection (MNS) in the entire area of the Natural History Museum Vienna. Please use your mask when entering the building. In the museum store you can buy mouth-nose protection with various motifs for 12, 50 € per piece.
  • Visitors from 14 years on, who are neither recovered nor vaccinated are required to wear a FFP2-mask.
  • Pregnant persons are exempt from the FFP2-mask requirement.
  • Persons who are exempted from the FFP2-mask by a valid certificate must wear a MNS-mask.
  • Masks are compulsory for children from 6 years of age.
  • Please disinfect your hands - disinfectant dispensers are available in the whole building.
  • Avoid group-like gatherings.

Online tickets can already be purchased from home.
 

Events & Guided tours:
  • It is required to wear a mouth-nose-protection during all tours and events.
  • For shows of the digital planetarium as well as the micro theatre and all other events and guided tours, a "3G" certificate (vaccinated/tested/healed) must be presented by all persons from 6 years on and over.
  • Obligatory registration for guided tours and events for 25 persons or more.

Museumscafé:

The museum café is open again. Please note:
  • Guests must bring a valid negative test result, a vaccination certificate or confirmation of having been through COVID-19. The control takes place directly at the table.
  • There is a nationwide obligation to register.
