Digital Planetarium

The Digital Planetarium in Hall 16 invites visitors to embark on a virtual journey into all dimensions – from the smallest particles in the universe to the largest galactic structures.

Fulldome technology makes it possible to fly with the dinosaurs, explore the cells of a tree, discover earth and experience space from the most exciting perspectives. The eight-meter dome opens up a world with no limits where you can explore the Earth from space, visit neighboring planets in the solar system, and discover distant alien galaxies. The planetarium’s state-of-the-art software makes it possible to display complex data in an easy-to-understand way, bringing to life everything from the structure of Planet Earth to the complexities of climate change.
All astronomical objects – planets, stars, galaxies etc. – are presented in a scientifically accurate way. During live shows our astronomers accompany participants on a journey of discovery through space. The 5.1 sound system makes the Digital Planetarium an audio-visual experience. Specially developed dubbing technology makes it possible to experience the films in several languages.
