In the Mezzanine of the Natural History Museum Vienna there is a series of 15 free-standing exhibits from the fields of mineralogy, geology, and anthropology designed especially with blind visitors to the museum in mind. This hands-on trail providing information about the objects and their history was created and tested in cooperation with a class from the Austrian Federal Institute for the Blind, a school for blind and visually impaired pupils.

Descriptions of the individual exhibits and a map of the trail are available in braille from the information desk. These texts can also be listened to using an audioguide.

The braille brochure and audioguide are available only in German.
