Presentation of mammoth tusks

The mammoth tusks, which have been found during road works near Mistelbach in 2016 and excavated by NHM Vienna paleontologists, have been publicly presented for the first time at MAMUZ museum on May 24th. They are 17,000 years old and are the most important mammoth find of the 21st century.
